These could be considered late news for some of you, but yeah, I returned back home on October 23th! Finished my last apprenticeship in the kitchen and now I can officially graduate from cooking school! Man, those 4 months felt like a year... And I can say, every single day was full of activities. I never felt so useful and so active before! Plus, achieved to get a recommendation letter written by the chef himself, turn to be the best apprentice in the hotel and, most important, claim the possibility of getting hired through the next years as a 3rd cook! So, I finally got a job! The previous week I went for an interview, and just today I got the word that they are going to hire me! Finally will do my apprenticeship! I have yet to speak with the manager there for the contract, but the from the school's apprenticeship arrangement office, they told me I will propably go on June 15th or 20th. The hotel is Rimondi Grand Resort and Spa in Rethymno, Crete. Unlike the last year in Galaxy hotel of Zante, the main cuizine of the hotel's restaurant is Cretan and Mediterranean, something that surely doesn't leave me uninterested! So... I am quite bored, so I thought to let you know what's going on with ol' me. As many have noticed I am quite inactive... A LOT inactive... TOTALLY inactive! I am a tiiiiiny little bit more active on FA, whoever is interested can find me there. So, I am waiting for my trade school to find a job for me and do my last apprenticeship in the kitchen. In the meantime, I am trying to find something myself. But if everything fails and haven't found a job by middle of June, I won't waste more time and join the army to finally finish my military service, which is mandatory and, trust me, a COMPLETE waste of time.
